My senegal swam up to my DIY pvc pipe overflow some time during the night and is now stuck in there. Water has stopped flowing through the overflow and my tank overflowed a little bit. I put the whole overflow in the tank to see if he will swim out but he hasn't yet. How should i get him out?

Is the pipe open on both ends?
Just pick it up out of the water and see if he falls out.
Or you could put one end up to a powerhead and see if the current will blow him out.

most likely it's stuck because it's trying to raise its finlets. it's best that you try get it him out head first. if it's really stuck you might have to break the pvc pipe. i'm not sure how to go about doing that.
u sure its in there? my ornate kept goin for rides in my overflows ending up in the sump like its fun or something. hope you get him out.
that sounds awesome, but it would be scary to think you lost your ornate.
