So they arent nocturnal? See I am sick of nocturnal fish... chocolate doradid (sold), BGK (waiting to get bigger), Fire Eel (sold), Clown Loach (once I put him in the 150 he became the most active

Mine did nothing but hide in the gravel, boat, or filter and when he started to go in the filter I got rid of him before he killed himself

Yes can be done. The red ones are very pretty.

I have an active WC delhezi ( 9 in) with congo tetras and zebra danios. She does bury in the sand from time to time, but loves to swim around and play with the other polys.

Would agree with @Vancouver about the small fish being 3 inches though.
