Anyone have success keeping bichirs and motoro rays? I havent seen many accounts of it working. If you did please state size of fish, tank, and lenght of time it lasted.

I tried to keep 4 bichirs with 3 motoro's in my 360 together and it didn't really work...I saw the disc on one my motoro getting nipped at by my endli...
Wow. so your telling me they have a chance? ahahahaha kidding. But serously.....no successful storys?
I have had no problems, as long as keep the size ratio close but I have had large rays and small pups in my predator tank at time and no problem at all. I do have lots of cover and hidding spots for the bichers and they pretty much make claim to there cave and everyone leave everyone alone. Tough job since both are bottom dweller and there is bound to be conflict. But its doable. Try keeping some of the most active bichirs like senegals, delhezis that usually likes to hang around the top. Only problem is that they don't grow big so you can only comm them with smaller sized rays
I have no issues...my smallest one is about 10" and the biggest is 24"....rays from 7" disk to 15"....I do see a nibble here and there on the disks but nothing major.
