Bichirs and their growth rates

My endlichiri I bought at 1-2" ... I have had him for 1 month and 2 weeks he is now 1/4 inch away from 7" so he has grown 5" in less than 2 months .... I feed him massivore .... Also I had a sen that reached 8" in about 6 months then stopped stayed at 8" for 2 years

yah my sens are about 7ish inches now. It's been about 6 months and now the bigger of the two is putting on a ton of weight and grew another inch maybe out of the blue.
 
do they come in hybrids??coz i herd a guy say that the polys we get here are mostly hybrids...
i got two endlicheri yesterday, one is super active while the other is very think and has some bite marks
this are my first bichirs and already in love with them
