This guy is my idol and I collected bichirs after seeing his congicus pics. Now I just about every species of bichirs.

Yes, both aro are in the same tank. My super red is of weak type, it's an exception. Don't take as normal.

The oldest is endlicheri which was 16" when I got it 10yrs ago, so I guess it's 11~12 yrs old.
 
i take it you have had no problems with aggression at all? it looks like your boss of the tank could easily swallow one of the smaller birchirs. this is something i am worried about as im looking at getting an 8" ornate however my delhezi and senegal are only 4"???

btw this is the best collection i have EVER seen!

Someday I will have a bichir 10 yrs + old.:) 11-12 yrs is a long time, do you have someone take care of your tank when you travel? This would be the biggest challenge in fish keeping when travelling.
 
all of your fish are incredible, but that shot of the big Congicus (#8) has to be my favorite! Awesome :thumbsup:
