anything left i can help out with?

I know this thread is old but I had to laugh when I read this cuz first you call the dudes thread pointless then you hit him up for free stuff. Made me laugh out loud:ROFL::banhim::ROFL:

I think it's pretty funny that some people consider a few hundred miles TOO FAR......LMAO.

They should try living someplace that rare fish are really rare. :nilly:

I make 7-8 hour trips ONE way for fish and smile about it the entire time.:screwy:

Some would say it's sad. Others would say it's dedication.

I agree, Id gladly make a 5 hour one way trip for free STs!

Somth'n you need to keep in mind is that out here in California traffic is horrendous and gas is close to 4 bucks a gallon.

Driving long distances in the city isn't just a matter of getting in your car and going out here, it's a stress filled gauntlet of destruction.

Yeah, I never thought of it from that standpoint Mr. Dirtyblacksox. I can't deal with traffic. I think of that kind of traffic and my mind instantly cuts to scenes from the movie "Falling Down" Or at least thats what hgappens in Chicago and Minneapolis. I imagine out there it's worse. BUT at least it's NOT cold and you have CHEAP fishtanx.

I think I'de gladly trade you at least temporarly....but I'm takin the rays with.

And yeah....wide bars.....I'de drive 5 hours 1 way to PAY for them....

I agree on the wide bars, but yeah, people don't know how bad it is out here and words cannot describe it traffic wise.

I worked with a few soldiers at the recruiting station out here who were from New York, they were shocked at how bad traffic is out here in the Los Angeles area by comparison to where they're from to give you an idea.

There's a lot of stuff readily available within reasonable distance out here, especially in the aquarium hobby and it's got us spoiled, then again a 1 bedroom studio apartment runs 1300 a month in a bad neighborhood, hehe.
