Bichirs at Petsmart

It is sad that Petsmart carries some of these fish that get so large. The workers are not educated about the fish and probably sell them to people who put them in 10 gallon tanks.

I hate comments like this. Most pet stores will do the same, mom and pop, or corporate. It depends on the individuals store and their employees.

I have worked corporate and mom/pop. In my area, my petsmart kicks ass (cause i work there and know what the hell i'm talking about). The other Petsmart blows. The mom/pop down the road has commissioned workers, they will sell you anything. The other mom/pop is very knowledgeable.

Broad generalizations suck.

Sorry if I offended you. You are right, generalizing is not good. You are right that mom and pop stores can be just the same as corporate. I have gotten bad advice from both types of stores. My bad.
