Bichirs eating hikari gold sinking...

My eat Hikari Sinking Lionhead pellets but im gonna switch them to Hikari Tropical Sinking Carnivore Pellets

I feed that stuff to super tiny bichirs, but it doesn't take long before they're big enough for sinking gold 'mini' then sinking gold, then carnivore, then eventually, massivore

Cool vid! My bichirs seem to eat just about anything. I never tried the sinking gold though. Just worms and carnivore. I think I'll pic up some massivore next time I hit the LFS. Sweet bichir, man. You have a great collection.

Thanks bro, hey man do you have any problems with carnivore making the tank water smell?

When I had endlies, I fed them that stuff and I had to add quite a bit so that all the bichirs could get their share, but the water would foul up quick, less than a minute. I tried feeding smaller amounts a little bit at a time, but it still smelled.

That's why I switched to sinking cichlid gold because I don't get that smell. The bichirs don't get as far on the stuff, but they keep a trim healthy form I think.

I want to see pics of you bichirs bro, on worms and carnivore they're going to be putting on the mass!
