Death roll is exactly that death roll. I would also figure body configuration would have a lot to do with who actually came out on top and would well imagine a bichir eating its way out the gills of any cichlid who tried to bite it's head off.

I know some cichlid can kill a bichir but not rip them in half as what they kept saying. Lol!
