Hello Lizardking,
i'm located in Königsbach, a village near Karlsruhe. This village is not so far from Stuttgart (you will know due to the Soccer-WM). Could i help you a bit?
When hearing about Sweden i'm thinking about the awesome music scene ... Freak Kitchen, Pain of Salvation, Flower Kings ... wow! Sweden has less people than Berlin and rocks soooo well! Is there anything in your water?

Yes , because of the wm i do know where it is I agree that we got some awesome bands, but unfortunally I havent heard the ones you mentioned. I know theres a festival in Wacken where my friends used to go to. I always wanted to go there to. Heard of it? I have mostly CA/SA cichlids , but theres always room for a poly or two

Hello again,
now the darkness makes me able to photograph the tanks ... unfortunately the tanks themselves are the stage of twilight. Bichirs don't love those bright illumination you need to make better pics - or i need a better camera.
This is my smaller tank (200 litres) ... the home of 3 Polypterus senegalus, 1 Polypterus weeksi, 1 Channa pulchra, 1 Cichlasoma sajica and 1 Ancistrus ...
This is the bigger tank (330 litres) ... the home of 2 Polypterus polli, 2 Polypterus delhezi, 1 Polypterus lapradei, 1 Polypterus teugelsi, 1 Channa gachua and 1 Herpetopneustes fossilis ... also rich-planted, which minimizes my efforts in cleaning and gives the fish many hiding places ...
Normally i define those blurry pics as trash - but there is no opportunity to do it better with my equipment. But it works good to make pics from fish.
Today they don't like to model - with the exception of Channa pulchra:
