Bichirs swimming weirdly then dying

ya if it’s two in one tank - gotta be environment-

i had one endli that was special needs if you will probably missing some pertinent genetic material- it grew slow - and could not swim well or feed well -

Sorry your fish are going through this. This is heartbreaking to watch. Are any of the other fish affected or is it just the bichirs? Do you have at least a 1-inch gap at the top of the tank for them to breathe air?

I feed mostly tilapia meat, silversides and sometimes pellets. I think I'm changing to a pellet only diet.

Tilapia, silversides, and pellets are all good staples. Unless if these were contaminated ie) raw tilapia left out for hours etc, it probably isn't a food issue?
