i added some cories in together with my bichirs.
the cories aint exactly bite size for the bichirs but one of the stupid bichir kept wanting to bite the cories.
do you think they are possible to be together?

Noooooo!!!! I have the same situation... I was hoping that the extra floor space in my new tank would be enough to keep everyone apart....

I think you'll eventually lose a bichir. Cories lock the spines in their dorsal and pectoral fins, making it somewhat difficult to swallow them but presenting the perfect opportunity to choke on them.

Yes a cory will finally kill something besides poop!
But I like Bichirs and I like Cories. Get a small tank for the cories and get something like an adult rainbow shark for the Bichirs.

The cories will eventually get killed
=[

The cories will due to eventually be gone along with the possibility you'll lose a bichir
due to the fact cories have dorsal as well as pectoral spines.BTW you already answered your own question ''but one of the stupid bichir kept wanting to bite the cories.''

at the moment, the cories are big enough for the bichirs not to swallow them whole.

will try to comm them together for a while and see how it goes.
i've seen successful cases before. :chillpill:
