is it alrite to keep these 2 fish together? i hardly ever see anyone askin bout these 2 so i guess i will.

I have success with it... The Goby is twice the length of the bichir.

I don't know if it'd work the other way around though...

Just make sure that you have a brackish setup which is not ideal for bichirs. Done it in freshwater setup before but don't let any ammonia to rise up even a 0.4 as they will stop eating and will go to the surface and starts gulping air and will soon starve itself to death. They also eat small pieces of food as they are filter feeder. I have success feeding mine with very very small cut up smelt, shrimp/prawn or fish fillet about almsot bloodworm size.

YOU CAN BUT WITH ROPE FISH SOME COME FROM BRACKISH WATERS . OTHER BICHIRS I WOULD NOT DO IT D, GOBY LIKE STRONG BRACKISH WATER.

o ok cause my lfs keeps them in soft water with bichirs an they get along alrite so im wonderin

You might see them getting along ok but does the dragon goby eats? Ask the owner and try and feed them and if the goby eats. If not then the goby is just waiting till it dies.

they say the gobys eat they feed them spitnulella or however u spell it with bloodworms every other day i think somethin like that

Just wait when the ammonia start to rise up then that's when the trouble for the goby to start. It won't bother the bichirs though. If the goby if keep in brackish then it becomes a hardy fish doesn't matter with ammonia rising up but not to the extreme. If you really want to add that goby go ahead try it yourself.

o ok could i add a lil brackish extract to my tank to slowly convert it? cause i have a Buffalohead in the tank too

I have kept both together for over a year without any problems whatsoever.
