Bichirs with Rosy barbs?

I have them in there now. The Barbs are actually a bit bigger, 3 inches at the very least and are pretty fat too. I honestly wouldn't expect any trouble until my Bichir reached 6-7" range though I won't wait of course lol. This is only a temp fix and all's going well, they don't even notice each other really.

that's how i felt from post #3. what about the bio load, how was it effected?

p.s. i keep a white cloud minnow with my bichirs.. now that's..

the white cloud has been there for about 6 months now.. the bichirs don't even acknowledge its existence.. all bichirs are different.. the only thing my bichirs have ever eaten are pellets..

I delt with the load by feeding them very lightly, at the beginning I might've fed them one a week, now I'm at maybe 2-3 times a week but very light. They seem to be doing great. Very active and they all eat though I'm planning on giving away the barbs soon.

Try putting some ghost shrimp in. Ghost shrimp=Snickers bars for carnivorous fish

That doesn't sound like a good thing to feed Bichirs lol. Though it's what I feed mines half the time besides blood worms.
