This is a bit of a weird question but how thick would a bichir be at 12-13 inches???

depends on the species, how much you feed it, and genetics

I have a endli as wide as both my thumbs at 13-14" and also had a lap that not much bigger than 1 thumb at 14" it varies

As everyone else said. UJs dont get as thick as LJs. My two 12-14" laps are about two thumbs thick, my teugelsis are about one thumb thick. I feed tilapia and massivore, i fast 2 days a week.
