Both nice fish. Funny you should post a pic of them together because my (reputable and knowledgeable) LFS owner recommended odoes as good tankmates for my 2 pleuros ... Asian pike cichlids in your case! 
nice looking odoe .my odoe is about 12" now as well.does yours do a figure of eight looking at his self in the glass???.mine does this quite a bit.
how does yours get on with his tankmates????
