I was in Big Al's on Saturday for the first time and was quite frankly...
BLOWN AWAY!!!
When you first enter the store, the front section is all dry goods, tanks, etc. They have tanks set up ranging from 10 gallons up to a really sweet 265 gallon. They also have two large tanks set up filled with water with at least 15 different types of hang-on filters running, just so you can see how they work. Another tank with protein skimmers running. The store is clean, shelves are stocked to the max, and very competitive prices. There is plenty off friendly and knowledgeable staff working their also. I then went through the doorway to the fish room and could not believe how big it was, and stocked with fish. The fish room was 2-3 times the size of the dry goods room. Right in the middle is a 5,000 gallon circular shark tank set, though the sharks are not in it yet (still cycling). All the fish are in good health and the the tanks are all a good size for the fish. They have every kind of fish you could possibly think of (saltwater, cichlids, brackish, community, etc). One cool example is a almost 2 foot Irredescent shark for $89. This thing was huge. On the way out I spoke to the owner who was behind the counter. He used to be the owner of another large aquarium that was open but closed years ago in Jenkintown, PA called Martin's Aquarium. So bottom line, I would highly recommend stopping in. They also have a sign above the entrance that they will "Buy used fish". I spoke to the owner about this, and he said that he will try to give a fair price for any fish that you bring in. He also gave me the store catalog which is the same as the bigalsonline one, so I assume they will match prices.

Here is the url which is under construction but at lease has the address and hours:
