Well i always found Big Als regular price kinda expensive. I learned to barter from mama. So i go to this neighbourhood chinese run aquarium store. I kinda watch some of their regular customers for a while, then i realized their were two prices one for them, those who can speak chinese and another inflated plus tax price for the non-speaking chinese. I became a good customer and got the tax discount for cash. And every once in a while if i am making a big purchase i'll be bold enuff to ask for an additional discount. Usually this means a few extra fish. Or try MOPS online excellent prices!!!

Well I didn't have time to make a lot of price check for Mops and Big Al's in comparasion to each other but only the Aqua Clear 50 filter because I got one not too long ago.


Big Al's = $15.99
Mops = $30.83
Petsmart = $37.99 ( I think )

There you go, atleast on this product Big Al's blows the competition away.
 
Big purchases I get from Big Al's and small stuff or the things I need right away I get locally.
