Dont be discouraged. What are the chances of PetCo carrying a Black Pacu anyway? I bet 100 to 1 thats it's just a red belly sub-adult. You know they grey out and darken as adults, I actualy assume this to be the case......

Here is the Pacu A guy on a Local forum i'm on is trying to find a home for It's in a 100 g tank.. Look at the tank It looks like it's in a 20 g. !! But it really is 100g's This fish is 22" long and look how tall !! Couple more inches and he'll be out of the top of this tank !! Look at the emperor 400 and match the fish to it !!!!
