Definitely a unique jack Dempsey then. Never seen a male with so much color on his face like that.

Look like a blue gene JD because of the colorful face and deformity in the fins and body, Regular JD males do not have color on gill plates.
 
I kept several EBJD before and they all showed different degree of deformity in the finage that appears to be from old injuries. May be it it the angle of the camera, the caudal region of the fish in the first pic appears to be crooked.

Here is a video I just took of him and his lady friend. To me it's obvious that his fins are the result of injury not deformity. Also, keep in mind, that I have no idea what conditions he was kept in before I got him. He does seem to have a stunted look to his body.
