Big BP vs. Bigger Indo dat!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This is fun, such a relaxing hobby we are into! Reminds me of the days on Aquatic Forums.
Just to piss everyone off some more, I agree with T1.
And to throw my two penneth worth in, the correct scientific species name is Datnioides and NOT Datnoides, just being too lazy to put the extra i into the name does not make it right. It is not a regional variation where you can claim it is correct, as in aluminum or aluminium, Datnoides is wrong, simple.
Now, if you'll excuse me, my daughter is locked in a small box with a baboon and I have to feed them some irradiated pellets.

This how much repect even the makers of the parrots have for them

Have you never wondered why you don't see very small parrots for sale let me tell you

The man playing god who makes the parrots does his thing then he has to wait and grow them for a bit so he can see which ones look like what people buy as a parrot he then takes about 30-40% of the ones that look like parrots out then ships them of to LFS who don't mind selling the crap parrot
Then he is left with 60% that look nothing like parrots so that 60% is killed culled or despised of
Now if you still want to buy such a fish like this knowing what has happened to get the cute fish you all love so much you have no respect for fish you just want what someone else thinks looks right

And the whole forum knows I can't spell but as far as I know you don't need to spell to be able to keep fish WELl

I have had to much of this thread now I call dats tigers because I can
And I hate the wobbly tropical goldfish they call a parrot not just for the way it looks but for the way it's made maybe if the people who made the parrot spent more time trying to save and make some baby ST we may all have some nice fish not crap

the only reason i mention it is the mouth of dats can be quite easily damaged especially by fish that like to lip lock, as for parrots/hybrids it does not bother me and each to their own.
They never locked lips.....Are you kidding? It would be like a person locking lips with a hamster! LOL They just chased each other in a tight circle! The day i introduced the large Dat the Parrot tried to assert herself. The IT drove the BP into a corner more than once....I could hear the body blows on the BP from my desk! The DAT is real comfy now....Disappears often into the dimly lit black background of my tank....When it is stable though everyone in the tank clears a path! Thats when it becomes a tiger!!

I just thought I would put this thread back on track. Its become something of A train wreck....But of course people love to look at accidents. Does not however make them cool.

How could they lock lips most parrots can't even close their mouths
