Which south Americans or centrals get bigger more for a center piece but wouldnt kill off silver dollars and firemouths?

Give me a list of the bigger ones, not huge, like midas or red terrors or something, jags are pry too big, just list some that would work and Ill go look up the info on them, thanks.

True Parrot, Blue acara. Depending on the size of the tank you could do a JD or possibly a GT. My Gt is pretty peaceful and doesnt mess with my firemouth at all.

Most cichlids don't even kill Silver Dollars in a big enough tank. Firemouths are usually ignored since they are not seen as competition. (that's also in a tank that is big enough).
So what size tank are we talking about?

+1 on a chocolate. They get pretty big and mine is the peace keeper in my tank. They won't back down, but don't start anything either.

I've had chocolates and definitely are an ideal equivalent for oscars in this kind of setup...also some big geos are pretty laid back too
