Most cichlids don't even kill Silver Dollars in a big enough tank. Firemouths are usually ignored since they are not seen as competition. (that's also in a tank that is big enough).
So what size tank are we talking about?
sorry thought I posted it here but that was my other thread, I should have just linked the 2 together, was very tired lol. its a 125. I may not go with a big guy, i want for certain a good group of silvers,, and I love firemouths, something I am going to get bashed for here is I also like convicts lol. Ive done Africans all my life and lots of south Americans but not firemouths or cons. If my tank was bigger I would do bigger south Americans all together but I want a more relaxing yet personable tnk right now and 125 is all the room I got.
