Big Clown Loach got tagged....

So my question to all ray keepers here for the benefit of new potential ray keepers, if ray can tag a fish with this sharp tail sting can they tag your hand as well while doing maintain enece and cleaning etc ? If yes then what the remedy or cure any particular medication ?

yes but we do not die- and you have to go out of our way to get stung.

Thanks guys... sadly he was no longer breathing when I got home from work... pulled him out and he was a full 12 inches... kinda sucks but its the game we play when we keep rays with norms...

So it finally happened... One of my rays stung a fish.. and of course it was my biggest clown loach right in the mouth.

Any thoughts on survival or remedies?

damn jay, i lost may male mini marbled from my female marbled from a sting through the stomach through and through. even kept the stinger after i pulled it out. this happened about a few months back. but i got another male to replace him :/
