Click to expand... As long as the tank it's going into is clean and well kept that shouldn't be too much of an issue. The tank water will dilute the pollutants if things are under control.

Click to expand... That's the point of the drip method, to acclimate the fish slowly from store water to tank water. It's the safest method of acclimation in my opinion.
