Big eye problem...

if she still has a "hole" in her eye the best thing i have found to use is melifix. she should be fine about a week or two after you start the treatment. it works wonders with fresh and saltwater fish. it prolly wouldnt hurt to use it in your pleco either

Thank I'll go buy melifix.
After 4 days of healing the eye has heal quite well, no more hole ... but the color are very strange...
She's still eating well and coming towards me when I'm near the tank...

I'll keep doing my water change and use melifix and I guest the time will do the rest...

I am glad to hear she is going well. With no pix, it could have been a number of things, but as long as she is starting to heal, you are on the right track. The color of her eye may never be the same. If she has gone blind from the hole and infection, the eye color will always look funny, it could remain glazed looking, change colors all together, or get a lot darker. But as long as she is eating again, swimming normally, has no obvious signs of duress, I would'nt worry. good job --- now breath, lol, she's ok.

Last update, 2 weeks later it's completly heal, I put her back in the main tank and everything is find...
