:wall: :wall: :wall: What is a recommended means of filtration for a 50-55 gal being set up for cichlids. Hang-ons, under gravel, refugium? I'm lost and out of ideas. Still not sure what decor will be in the tank. PLZ HELP! :feedback:

I have recently become a big fan of the TetraTec filters. I put the 500 model in a 55g with the heater insert, and it is amazing. Crystal clear water, easy maintenance, and very stable temperature. I've got eight immature frontosa in there, and the water quality is great. :headbang2

For a 55g I like a hang on and a ugf but that is just me.
