I grew a fire eel from 5" to 24" in 2 yrs . Its eating what everyone else is eating in the tank besides pellets. The trick is to only feed them what's available and thats it. No live food whatsoever!! Mine eats, blood worms mysis and cut squid rings. Like a champ

I had two about 14 in each in my 125g, the tire track hated the fire eel. Dont think they do well together, unless its in huge tank.
