Thanks. I love the center piece of wood. It sits flush against the back of the tank. It’s just Malaysian drift wood. Around 250 dollars worth. It’s funny and I know better but you think your good to go with the tank and stand for $400. Then comes the real cost, started with by paying 2 Eheim 2217’s ($300)started cycling off my oscar and Midas tanks. Loved the impact the extra filter had on the oscars tank so I now have 3 and an ac 110 on that tank. Decided to go all in and got a Eheim 2262 (big als has the best deal at 419 btw). Then 150 in media.... 50 dollars pool sand.... 150 for jag + 69 dollars shipping. Empty tank = $400. Healthy environment with big jag = Close to $1800 and change. Worth it; he’s a beast and I love being sandwiched on both sides of the room by my big cichlids! Regardless the feedback is appreciated after all that cost ;-)

Jeff explained the lineage of mine which was fascinating. If he’s good enough for jeff’s home display tank hes got to be good enough for my living room :-)
 
Any thoughts on aquascaping would be appreciated. I like it as it is but I am far from artistic. I would have g9ne darker on the background or sand if I knew I was gett8ng a jag at the time.
