It has a lot to due with the genes as well. As for your fish there if it is not showing KOK by now it's a pritty good bet that it's not ever going to. But it's cool I have one or two the same way still very nice fish. In some cases it's a more natural look.

maybe ur fh is a female in which it is rarer to have a nuchal hump

and also, some FH strains are late bloomers. some show nuchal hump developments when they're around 4-5inches already.
