big juruenses/whos got one

yeah my juruense has always been in with rays
it has reached 17" in 18 months and shows no signs of stopping growing yet

hey gulper hows your jurunese coming along? mine finally came out of his shell and is starting to eat like a pig. He needs to start catching up to my marbled pim! that things gonna get big real fast

He's workin on it. I never get to see him eat though but he eats everything I put in there every night. Think I am going to move him this weekend.

Yeah thats the same way mine was for the first couple weeks, he would just sit at the top back of the tank behind the bubbles and never come out till i went to bed because he would have a little belly on him in the morning, but i was still getting worried about him. All i ended up doing is one day moved him out of his hidinng spot behind the bubbles with the net and he ALWAYS stays out now in his little spot by a piece of driftwood. He lets me feed him and eats right in front of me now stuffing himself with worms, i have a feeling hes gonna grow fast now! How big is yours now and how long have you had him... how big was he then

I got him on Jan. 6 he was tiny maybe 3" he is probably 6" now without the stringers on his tail. He just sits up on his rock and smiles at me. Yeah I still never see him at but I am feeding him black worms right now. Ther is never any left but I dont get to see him eat em. I am going to try hand feeding him soon.

yeah i would recomend getting a turkey basker (like a giant eye dropper thing) and what i do is put cut up night crawlers in there and squirt a piece out right in front of him and he will grab them up till his belly is about to burst
