they eat fish for sustenance we keep them for reasons hardly as sane or necessary

Ive seen blue gourmis, dragon gobies, spiney eels, snakedheads and tinfooil barbs. Also i found a packet of knifefish fishballs in their freezer. And just because its different doesnt mean a market is seedy.

pretty normal. they also have packs of baby snakeheads like 1000 in a pack.. large shs and clown knifes.. we used ck and shs to make pickled fish for that bomb papaya salad..

That is new to me, I have never seen anything like that. It doesn't surprise me though. I've seen enough fish markets on TV from various countries where they eat many fish we consider to be special.

I'm a knifefish owner but I did ate some back in Asia and they taste really good!

think of it this way, many of the fish we keep (in paticular, larger species) were food fish long before they were aquarium fish
