Big loss in the fishroom

oh nooooooo....there are way too many threads about Arrowanas jumping out and dying

I put netting around my pool to prevent me from ever having to make a post like this. So I bought shear netting, put it all up and tested it with a tennis ball and had some tares where it is zip tied. If a tennis ball can start to rip the netting an arowana is going to rip it clean from my poles. Needless to say I took it all down, such a waste of time and money. But I don't ever want to lose him. I gotta find something that will be strong but shear. I may try window screen.

That sucks to lose a fish like that, sorry for the loss... Looks exactly like my aro which came through the eggcrate I have zip tied on the tank. Lucky I was in the room and could toss him back...it's probably a concern for all with large aro's
