i was given 2 plecos a l196 and not sure the other but looks kinda like him. problem is they crap more then any fish i ever had. i added power heads to move it around but it dosent really help every day i clean it out. if i dont the tank looks bad. what can i do? becouse i do like them alot.

I stand by the fact that when keeping plecos, It's always a good idea to have a undergravel. That's just my opinion though. Others may disagree. With the undergravel you don't have to worry about those long stringy poops. It eventually breaks down, and goes under. Also a good thing to keep in the tank with plecos are cories, and loaches. Thier constand ground sifting and sweeping, does a good job of breaking up pleco droppings.
One method I have used that has not been mentioned already is the 1" rigid tube. Plug one end with your hand, and drop the other end next to the poop. Remove your hand and once the water hits the highest point, replug and release in a bucket.
i clean it every day by vac but i wish there was a better way. thanks for the ideas but i dont know how you guys keep these fish.
Large gravel is what I have in many of my tanks, and I have no problems in these tanks, as the poop falls through, and breaks down.
Well with my pleco tank, i cycle 1860 gallons per hour and it helps keep it down. The 16 plecos in the 60(still no fights
