let my dad watch my tew brand new tiger oscars for the weekend..............big mistake..........came home and they were both dead.......they got ick(he thought he fed them the wrong food ) .....but he replaced them with one red oscar .......so i guess ive learned my lesson.............

I know how that feels i let my dad take care of my Africans over spring break almost killed the whole tank. Killed my full color Eye Biter. Ehhhh over feeding.

i hear u man ........ what sux for me is i am offered trips allthe time free of charge the last one was going ti mass then to WA state then to Fla to see mickey lol for my kids, the to va beach everthing PAID for... i have 3 dogs 2 brids and many FISH i have no porb with any one taking care of my dogs or my birds........but my fish i don't want no one messing with
but me . so i stay home

I wouldn't blame the parent, though for one weekend. Ich sucks, period. If they died from it, they probably had it for a while. Where did you get them? If you got them at Wal-Mart, I'd say let that be the lesson learned. It's the ich capitol of the modern world. Still sucks, though.

Its tuff finding someone to watch your fish, alot of people just don't relize what is involved in keeping fish. Sigh.. training someone can be difficult.
