Mine have a slight PLJ issue too. But well... it's one fish which totally accept anything ranging from pellets to live feed. I simplity love my jar.

Yes,
I mainly feed Hikari pellets, but the other night I got some HUGE mealworms and fed him.
WOW! he went nuts. He is TRULY a monster. 19" now.
