My firemouth quit eating for 2/3 weeks. I was afraid he was gonna die. Then all of a sudden he started taking nibbles at the pellets. Slowly but surely he started eating normally again. I dont know why fish do this, maybe they are sick, or upset about something, maybe they have temporarily become shy of you and eat while you arent looking.
Anyway, just keep an eye on the fish and if they become very skinny then you should be very concerned. Try some garlic extract and maybe they will get an appetite.
