thank u i appreciate all your comments :) a heck of alot better than my other thread :'( i have had a rough first year as a fish keeper, but he is the reason i keep pushing forward!! i am very proud of him <3 he is my first fish friend

he is with a female dempsey.. i dont think i could handle another con pair lol maybe they will mate and ill have wicked unique fish
 
people will probably tell you not to do it, but I have seen some pretty cool con and jd crosses before. out of a batch of 200 you will get probably 10 cool fish, and 2 really nice ones.
theyre youre fish and it would be a shame to not pass on those genes!
 
Very nice fish! My female would love him. She's confused though. Trying to mate with my Midas. He clears the area and she lays eggs.lol
Wish i had a male like yours around so she'd get the picture.lol

yeah my female dempsey doesnt get it either... she is scared of him lmao! im hoping when she gets older she will be better :)
 
I remember a long time ago when UH in Hawaii had a pond near where the tennis court are that had convicts in there that multiplied and a few were at least 6 inches
