Big Perfecto tanks break???

i just got a small 20L perfecto... if that leaks thatll suck since its right above the outlet. but its small so im not too worried. im gonna go big soon like 300+

How old was it? It's been a long time since they've made 135s right?

how often should you reseal to be safe, or just wait for it to leak.

the thing is, you could be waiting a long time

I have tanks that have been going for almost 20 years now with no reseals..touches wood..

but they have been in one spot unmoved/never drained down completely either.

I was always under the impression that the real risk of problems goes way up when you take a tank that has had water in it for years and then drain in down and move it.

all the stresses change and the chance of a problem goes way way up.

I have fish friends that have 65s that have been going since the late 70's with the original seals and I suspect that might be why.

All of my tank failures were within the frist 1-2 years after original purchase.
