big pleco species

Most Pterygoplichthys get big (which the 'common' and sailfins fall under).

As mentioned a Hypostmus Plecostomus is a common but doesn't get big(in most cases).

Note: There are 3 plecos being sold as common. Two are Pterygoplichtys.

L64 grows to 4 and a half feet! Good luck finding one though.

I would love a Adonis but they take a decade or more to get to those big sizes

Pineapple Plecs get pretty big, and are armor plated! Rapps has them still i think.

Very slow grower. Won't work out with fast growing fish.
