Big problem for me! Help!

a 25% waterchange is not alot. i do an absolut minimum of 50% a week. this depends on condtions obviously. i agree w/ wyldfya it could be from overfeeding. what is your feeding schedule like and how many fish are in there? also what size are they?
p.s. you shouldn't wash you filter media. it should be rinsed in clean tank water to preserve the beneficial bacteria.

ok that is great input and you're sure that's 100% correct if so im gonna punch the little girl that works in the LFS in the D!ck for telling me to wash it and to clean it... i feed my 11 inch gar 2-3 fish a day once in the morning and then when i get home and if he doesnt sit or go relax i feed him again.
if something happens to my fish because of this i will be sad

tank is still very green i will do my water change on wensday, or should I do it earlier and im going to do 50% is that good? I am thinking thats too much but I want to do whats best for the fish..
I lost some pirahnas to cloudy water like that. Turned out I had failed to take a piece of meat out of the tank and it stayed in the tank all day turning the water a milky color, I did a 75% water change but it was too late. Bang if you feed your Gar fish you might wanna make sure theres no left over fish heads in the tank rotting. Other than that have you checked your parameters, thats the first thing you should do.
Hey dats just normal,my setup had the same problem like 2 months ago it just the bacteria blooming,just dont clean anything anymore like ur filters let all d bacteria build up.. should clear out sometime soon.even tho im running 2 of eheim 2217 in a 55 gal tank i still had it so the water is not dirty or anything i hope this helps u,i knw how u feel about ur water,,i wanted to empy out the whole tank and fill it up again lol anywayz i better shut up take care..
