In the fish section LOL
Ok here is the situation i bought a small butti mabey 2" max he has at least doubled his size in the past few weeks he is now beating the crap out of my juvi pbass also a jag which i purchased is beating on them. I separated the jag and butti into a 30 gal for now because the pbass are gettin the crap beaten out of them. My question is now when the butti and jag get bigger would either be able to go into my 150 with 14" oscar 2, 8" jd and 2 10 inch bps should i bring these guys back to the lfs? HELP!

Your buttikoferi will just continue to attack the other fish. If you put him in the bigger tank, he'd rape the Jack dempseys and blood parrots 5 times over by wednesday. Rehome him.

Both of those fish get very, very big and are very, very mean.

My butti will not allow any tank mates, and he tries to attack my 8" flowerhorn (Butti is only 5" long)

150g tanks are 5x2x2 ? ... Id say no, Butti can reach 20" alone, and they only get meaner IME.

EDIT: Mystic beat me to it, I agree completely. Butti are kept alone, unless the tank is REALLY big.

Damn...peacock bass are not very assertive, so don't keep them with aggressive fish like butti's. If you move him right now into your 150, your oscar will probably eat him.

The only way to keep this fish with others is in a PACKED tank...if you dont like this kind of set up, dont even bother trying to find the perfect tankmates for him...
