big problem with red jewel spawns

How big are your jewels ? asking casue i got a nice male and might get him some one to get naughty with so im wondering how big they need to be to be mature.
 
Are red Jewels breeding patterns simlar to 5 spot Jewels??

Mine laid eggs about 5 days ago, all eggs are gone so just waiting on them going at it again.
 
Also sorry I dont think eggs hatched as I cannot see anything in tank, I think the Mlae ate them!

Next time they lay eggs I will be leaving only the femal with eggs.
 
I woulda just left them all together like was previously suggested. sometimes the pair will purposely lay more eggs specifically for the babies to eat, but jewels breed like rabbits anyways
