big RBP's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They do have faint humeral spots. And the biggest ones head is much darker than the other ones. I got all of them for 120.00. Do RBP's ever show humeral spots??? Thanks,
Mike

We really need some side shots mike. But no, red bellies will not have humeral spots. But those darker markings on the sides of your piranhas at the moment could be subject to colour change through conditions. Wait for them to settle and darken up a bit, and get us some side shots :)

those are not caribe and definatley natts.
every single natt i owned and that was a lot had a faint humeral spot that came out every now and then.
the reds you have have red eyes also caribe have clear eyes.

however they do liik good and if your reds wont take pellets you can feed whitebait with pellets forced down its mouth.

Dixon is right regarding the eyes, I also recon they are red bellies. That is not a clear defined humeral spot either, but instead a black smudge. Damn if they were caribe you would have got a killer deal.

So any pictures of the whole setup?

I'm glad I know what they are now. As for a set up pic I'm waiting for my lfs to get in the tall backgrounds since they were out of stock except for a saltwater background. Thanks for all info.
Mike

Caribe get a little bit bigger, maybe by 2 inches. Caribe have more of a reputation for being more aggressive, which shows as they are more know for cannibalism compared to red bellies. Caribe are slightly more sought after usually by piranha collectors as well, as they are not as common.
