I thought so too..but the Jag is relentless and when the Jag opened his mouth, which made me mad i missed taking the picture..{too surprised} it was some HUGE mouth.. but i quess pound for pound and size for size this would be a fair fight..

it would be a tough decision..but if i had to..i'd pick the jag..jags can be pretty crazy at times..i love cichlids

Just make sure that divider is really secure.
Fish like that have been known to push so hard that they either knock them over or push them over far enough to get through.

We bought really super strong dividers that i cannot even move if i push on it.. yes they sell some really flimsy ones that i would not trust.

So the votes are coming in the Jags favor.. That was definitly a close call for your RD.. RD's are tough fish.. but they have a gentle side to them too.. where the Jag is kind of a all for me kind of guy.. needless to say i do not think this will indeed be any kind of a truce soon..they are not as bored as they were before.. in fact i think they are enjoying the exercise ..
