It can work while they are small and it is a ton of fun watching them interact and how they behave around 1 another but a fatality is still possiable at that size but once they hit sexual maturaty forget about it they will destroy each other.

Thanks for this very good info.. and it makes totally good sense that once they are sexually mature things get very nasty..

Most of the time red devil or miadis will win, I say 95 percent of time, depends on personality. RD are taller body fish = MORE power, plus have much more teeth . I have had both of these fish many times over in 30 years. and this has been my experience.
 
welll my money is on the jag for looks:D

but in a battle the jag could get lucky and win if he got some good shots but in my experiance the devil would win because they never seem to give up!!
 
Bsixx has a good point. Midas/Devils do not give up. Jags get tired after a while. (As seen from attacking people through glass, or liplocking. They get tired and rest up after a few minutes.)
