This is probably going to get locked soon but I sure hope not because it is important for everyone to be aware of these situations. I just got off the phone with Lee and we talked for a while about what happened with this fish and it is quite interesting to say the least.
Here are a few points that should be brought up:

1- The fish that Lee has is not the same fish he was promised. The two pics posted are not the same fish in any possible way. Look at the tail pattern, look at the wavy last body bar and simply look at the overall height of the fish.

2- Apparently my name was used to make this sale saying that the fish came from me and that it was 17 inches. The fish might have been originally from me when it was about 12 or 13 inches but the fish was not with me any time recently.

3- Based on Datnoids' growth rates, I would highly doubt that the fish grew to 17 inches in the time it was in its new home.

4- I wouldn't generalize and say not to deal with Mods. I know a lot of the mods here and I really think they have a really good staff here at MFK. Mods are people and people make mistakes/errors. Do not go on an anti-mod mentality for what 1 allegedly did.

5- Lee mentioned 2 members involved in this deal and I have dealt with both. I have bought 1 fish from 1 and sold many fishes to the other. I have nothing bad to say about either, quite the contrary. But if all these allegations are true then they need to make this right in order to keep their integrity in my opinion.

Ph 33 I apologize for the peacocks not being monos I was told they were wc monos that have breed and on the st I was told that was the st I got I am by no means a dat expert and see where the difference is so personally contacted Ivan to clarify the size and if it was the dat that was pictured for sale that I received since I was told all the dats were from Ivan originally.

So as a friend I am going to try to make peace with you and do not worry about paying me for the occelaris you can have them as a gift.

As far as the st goes I am sorry too that I posted the wrong size so therefore anyone interested in a 14 inch dat( I am not going to catch him again and stick him next to a ruler I will sell him for fair market price of $300 dollars again this dat is fat and healthy and other than 2 splits on its tail it is a thick fish.Fish is for p/u only.

Again sorry Pat if you felt I mislead you in anyway.

first off. the pic with the 2 widebars in it was my orginal pic and have it on my photobucket.. I bought that datnoid from ivan and im sure he will vouch for that. I lost 2 more and was quiting and sold it to alex... so the fish you bought is the fish in the pic... The monos were also mine and were cought in miami waters.. so they are the hybrid mono, not oscell... I also gave that to alex when he picked up the st...

all 3 of those fish came from me, and can vouch that those pics are accurate.. I can post more pics of the split bar if u need..

this is the pic.. the fish in the top with the split bar is the one you purchased...

and the monos were cought on a nest in miami, with fry.. so they are a breeding pair, i can have 4 members vouch for that.

me or veranio's names shouldnt be brought into this.. when my 2 widebars died i measured them the smallest being 12" the other being 14" and the one u bought was bigger... I told alex it was around 17" so he posted that as the size, so if you have any one to blame for the size you can blame me...

but you have no right to accuse us as scammers..

I sent 4 pics to veranio of the widebar i believed was the one that I gave him, if i somehow sent him a pic of my other ones, than it is a mistake... but do you honestly think veranio Or I would go out of our way to scam someone?

Thats true, but when people blow something up to what its not, is annoying..
Clearley I sent alex a wrong pic, other wise he wouldnt have posted that.. and for the size if he/she is bigger than my 14" who died, its close to 17" if not that.. But i've never checked..
