It is a bullfrog tadpole, no other native meets the size and brownis, speckled description, they are herbivorous and detritus eaters as well. They will scrape green algae and eat most leafy veggies if the veggies has been softened by simmering, they should also take goldfish flakes that have started to breakdown, don't worry to much if you don't see it eat for a few days. They are most active in the mid 70's F. 1-2 years is not unusual before the develope further though keeping it in that temp. range minimizes that time. As adults they eat any thing that moves if they can fit it in thier mouths, this includes fish and other frogs or tadpoles.
