Big tank, need some opinions.

I am upgrading to a acrylic 8'x4'x2.5' and i am looking for some cool fish. I know alot about fish so dont toy with me such as red tail giant gouramis, large clown loaches, clown knifes etc. I am looking for rare and exotic fish. My tank is going to be centered around my datnoids taht will all be around 10" and hopefully bigger. As far as catfish wise goes i was going to get a lince cat or a tiginerus. I also really love those african arros so ill get 1 of those too if i see one up for sale, oh and maybe a korean perch. So what fish would you put in there?

If I had a tank like that I would stock it with Dats, a Perch, bunch of rays, and a spotted gar.

I like young Nile Perch.

Also some Polypterus.

nile perch are illigal too lol. I might go with that atlantic ray that swims up the freshwater streams and are fully freshwater. they look awsome and just like a salt water ray.

You can also keep a bunch of cool looking Plecos (L254, L204, L018, L260, etc.).

Na the giraffe cat wont ever be as active swimming as a lince cat, they are like a shark. And i really dont want plecos because they can scratch/put holes in the acrylic but if it was glass i would definetly get some.

What is the scientific name of that atlantic ray?

I would go for a silver aro over the african any day. If I were you it would be dats, a silver aro, lots of bichirs, and a few gars. Cuban or tropical.
