Big tank, need some opinions.

Rumblesushi: the ray is Dasyatis sabina and its found in northern freshwater rivers. I really would love a big silver arrow but its just african arrows are really rare around here so i would have to think about that for a while. I would also like some gars so id get those also.

you can fish yourself one of the rays from the St Johns river system... they are permanent FW.....

I really like Micronema apogon or Beledontichthys dinema... perhaps 3-5 of one those species. another favorite of mine (not rare but fun fish) are the sleeper gobies... marble or otherwise. Get about 1-2 ft long. Not rare but not many folks keep them. ANother GREAT FISH as far as interesting and uncommon is Mormyrus kannume... will hit 2FT or more, but biggest you can buy usually is about 11-12 " and grow slow. Fascinating fish.

ALso, common, but you don't see many fullgrown ones: Mbu puffer

Dunno if you like bichers, but P. endlicheri is a nice BIG bicher, a little less common than some others.

just some ideas (not sure what is legal or not in Florida).

Tigs are boring... get yourseld a big ol Irwinni or P. niger or P granulosas instead.!!

nile perch are illigal too lol. I might go with that atlantic ray that swims up the freshwater streams and are fully freshwater. they look awsome and just like a salt water ray.

they bet BIG brother, but you have the tank for it so go for it. btw they are out of season. we get them in like once a year for a month.

african aros are illegal too .... unless you have a permit then you can keep the afro and the rays .... check it out and see if you can get certified.

i'd get a bunch of widebars and ngts and perches..i say you get the Korean perch..except it costs a fortune..how about an asian aro?

NO THEIR NOT the lfs i work at has stocked them before, ive seen them with my own 2 eyes.

African arrows arent illigal the only illigal ones in florida are jardinis and asians. I would love to get a south american sting ray so if anyone knows how i could get a license that would be awsome. Or if anyone can get me one on the low low ill pay shipping lol just pm me if ya got one.

Messiner

please take some pics and post them if theyre legal in fl please show proof before you decide to blurt stuff out on here. Last time i checked fish and wildlife for the state... all species of arowana are illegal in fl with the exception of the silver.

If I had a tank like that I would stock it with Dats, a Perch, bunch of rays, and a spotted gar.
